I started in the kitchen at a young age with my Mum doing things like baking cookies and helping any way I could. She always used to let me go into the spice cupboard and mix anything wanted in a big bowl. This would keep me busy for hours...and admittedly still does!
I went away to university and decided that good old beans and toast just wasn’t going to cut it for this girl. That’s truly when my slight obsession with the Food Network sparked my confidence to experiment with food.
Now, I feel as though I have come a long way from where I started, and may even proclaim to be a self-taught chef. While I was living in Australia that I got the confidence to start a blog and that’s when I started calling myself “One Blonde Chef”.
